Detox for First Responders
At First Responder Wellness, detox isn’t just a medical process—it’s the first step toward restoring balance, purpose, and strength. Designed exclusively for law enforcement, fire service, EMS, corrections, and dispatch professionals, our detox program provides a confidential, culturally competent environment where first responders can safely stabilize, recover from withdrawal, and begin the deeper work of healing.
A Safer, Dignified Start
Detox can sound intimidating, especially in a profession where control and composure are part of the job. That’s why our program is designed to feel nothing like a hospital. Clients stay in private, home-like residences with 24/7 clinical and nursing supervision. Our medical team specializes in first responder health and ensures detox is safe, comfortable, and discreet—without judgment or unnecessary restrictions.
Culturally Competent, Clinically Excellent
Every member of our staff—nurses, clinicians, and case managers—understands the culture, language, and stressors of public safety. From alcohol and prescription dependence to complex co-occurring trauma, we treat first responders with respect and credibility. You won’t have to explain your uniform or your experiences before getting the help you need. You’re surrounded by peers who get it.
Trauma-Informed Care from Day One
Our detox process isn’t just about the body—it’s about the mind. Many of our clients arrive with compounded stress injuries, sleep deprivation, or emotional burnout alongside substance use. We begin trauma-informed interventions right away, helping clients reconnect with stability, sleep, nutrition, and emotional safety before moving into residential treatment.

Confidential and Connected
Confidentiality is absolute. Whether you come through your department, insurance, or privately, your participation remains protected. Our admissions and clinical teams coordinate every step—from medical clearance to transportation—to ensure a smooth, seamless transition into treatment. Departments that refer their members often share that this level of care and coordination “saves careers and lives.”
Start Here. Heal Fully.
For many first responders, detox is the first honest step toward wellness. At First Responder Wellness, you’ll never walk it alone. You’ll be treated with the same level of care, integrity, and professionalism you’ve always given to others.
